Grenadier, the beautiful warrior

Well if you think history is boring, then you probably haven’t seen this anime. The story is all about an ancient war of swordsman and gunslingers who have battled for many years with each other. Rushuna Tendo was send on a trip to learn how to fight without shooting at her opponent.

In the first episode she encounters a swordsman named Yajiro Kojima in an Onsen (hot spring), after saving his life by pretending that she didn’t see him when a soldier asked for him. When the soldier was gone she said to him “it is save now”. While she puts her clothes back on, Yajiro was already into a fight again. She decides to go after him. When she finally catches up with him, she sees a giant fortress with soldiers on the wall. Yajro isn’t yet seen! He gets discovered, because of Rushuna Tendo’s careless behavior. Rushuna then sees a bullet coming at Yajiro and she quickly pushes him aside and start shooting rapidly back at them. If you wanna know more… go watch the serie! You won’t regret it.

The main characters are:

Rushuna Tendou

She is the main character in the series and Tenshi’s student, her ultimate fighting strategy is to eliminate the opponents will to fight. She does this by pushing the enemy in her soft bosom. But this doesn’t always work, sometimes the enemy will use firearms. Then she uses her skills by unarming the enemies. She wants to win battles without shooting.

Yajiro Kojima

He is the swordsman who travels together with Rushuna. He’s a little bit of a pervert, but Rushuna forgives him for that. When it comes to battle he’s really quick with his blade. Yajro has already been at Senshi’s place and he wants revenge for his fallen comrades. He thinks that Senshi ordered to kill his troop, but the truth is much more deeper then that.

Mikan Kurenai

She appears later in the series. Mikan can make balloons to attack the enemies. She is protecting Rushuna from Yajiro pervy actions. She is not much of a fighter, but makes great balloons for escaping the enemy.
