Mirai Nikki

I just watched the first episode of Mirai Nikki and I must say that it is an intersting anime to watch. Mirai Nikki is about a middle school 2nd year boy, Amano Yukiteru. A boy that never stands out and has problems making friends. He calls himself an observer, because he writes everything down in his diary in his cellphone, one of his weird habbits.
Yukiteru has been imagining things since he had no much friends. When he gets home, he usually sits on his bed covered with a blanket. Then he enters in a virtual world in his mind where he talks to some creature called Deus Ex Machina and another friend called Muru Muru. Deus Ex Machina is actually a god of time and space, a being that can control life and dead.
One day the god asked Yukiteru if he wanted another future, something different than his boring lifestyle. Of course the little boy didn’t take the question seriously, because he thinks all those creatures are just his imagination, but that was a great mistake.
The god gave him the ability to see and record events in his cellphone that will happen in the future, actually a diary that will record the future. However when the owner loses his cellphone, then he will die.
At first he was kinda happy with his see in the future abilities, he even helped the police with a murder case, but soon he knows that there are more people with this ability. Gasai Yuno is his classmate, a girl that is popular at school and she has great grades, a girl that has been given the same ability as him.
Actually they are participating in a game to become Deus’s successor, a game to eliminate the others with those diary cellphones to become the winner. That was not really what Yukiteru wanted, but we will see what happens in the next episode.
The introduction of the story was brought to us in a very mysterious way, and I like that. The artwork is also good and I am definitely going to watch the next episode of Mirai Nikki.
