Anime Onsen, your source for ecchi anime, manga and otakuism!
An international anime blog and online community managed by the great "Otaku" who started this website since 2010.
Nowadays we have fans from all over the world, people who are in love with anime, manga and the
Japanese pop culture in general. We write articles about many topics, like cosplay, pvc figures and video
games for example. Otaku usually adds a little ecchi content to every article, that is just one of our habits.
Otaku is not the only writer at AnimeOnsen, in other words everyone can join our team or become a writer for free.
Some like to write about their favorite gravure idol or maybe a hentai serie that they have been watching lately.
Feel free to drop us a message in case you would like to join our team.
Anime Onsen does not stream, share or host any anime episodes or manga chapters. We love anime, we love mangaka and we
respect the industry! Anime Onsen is not like those losers out there! Losers who steal fansubs and advertise with
"read manga online" or "watch anime online", not even mentioning copyright related issues!

I like watching weird anime and live action movies once in a while. Kekko Kamen is one of those wacky series that I have been watching lately. Kekko Kamen is an old classic, but I loved it very much. The humor is awesome and it has a lot of fan service. Kekko Kamen means splendid mask, let’s see what is special about this anime and live action series.

Big Tits Zombie (Kyonyū doragon: Onsen zonbi vs storippaa 5) is a movie I watched. What is better than combining Japanese AV models with live action hack and slash zombie movies? The movie is adapted from a Japanese horror manga by Rei Mikamoto.

While I am almost cracking my brains out of my head, because of programming in Actionscript 3 for a school project and I still haven’t finished a lot of schoolwork and paid design jobs for this weekend and next week, I still decided to write a quick review of Battle Royale two.

Battle Royale is a novel, manga and movie. I’ve never read the books, but I watched the first movie this week. The story is about students who are on a schooltrip. Suddenly, they are gassed, kidnapped and taken to an island. A place where they have to survive by killing each other. They placed a necklace, equipped with explosives on every student to add some extra pressure in the game.

Bored watching all those Hollywood movies? Don’t know what to do after Valentine’s Day? Maybe watching the movie Robo Geisha will cure this boringness. A film by Noboru Iguchi. I couldn’t find words to describe this movie, maybe the word “wicked” is a good definition.

Flamboyantly Colored Heroes & Spiderman?! Well, it seems some time has passed and I kept forgetting to even continue this series, but now I will. It becomes even weirder when you realize the next few series I would discuss, might be even more iconic and the third probably as weird as they might get for you.

That last one didn’t go completely as planned… For those who were wondering who or what that is in the banner, it’s a mecha from Mahou Sentai MagiRanger, the origin of Power Rangers Mystic Force. But I’m going ahead of myself, Sentai and American Toku I’ll get to later. First, I’m continuing with the Showa riders.

Well, it’s been some time, but I’m back again. Going right on with what I promised I would, Kamen Rider. Still, once again I threw a word on you you might not know, Showa. No that’s not part of the title, or even officially associated with Kamen Rider, instead its a very persistent fan term.

Right, so I dropped this scary word in my Kamen Rider post, Tokusatstu… Without even backing it up, I even linked to an explanation for an anime staple, the Tsundere. But why not Tokusatsu, or Toku in short? Because Toku is a genre in it’s own right and very wide and varied.

And with that interesting statement I make my first appearance, even introducing a new category at the same time. No, this isn’t a witty remark referring to Yaoi, it’s about a popular Japanese Tokusatsu series. I’ll not go into further detail on that term here, but I probably will in another post.
