An international anime blog and online community managed by the great "Otaku" who started this website since 2010. Nowadays we have fans from all over the world, people who are in love with anime, manga and the Japanese pop culture in general. We write articles about many topics, like cosplay, pvc figures and video games for example. Otaku usually adds a little ecchi content to every article, that is just one of our habits.
Otaku is not the only writer at AnimeOnsen, in other words everyone can join our team or become a writer for free. Some like to write about their favorite gravure idol or maybe a hentai serie that they have been watching lately. Feel free to drop us a message in case you would like to join our team.
Anime Onsen does not stream, share or host any anime episodes or manga chapters. We love anime, we love mangaka and we respect the industry! Anime Onsen is not like those losers out there! Losers who steal fansubs and advertise with "read manga online" or "watch anime online", not even mentioning copyright related issues!
JPCU stands for Japanese pop culture club Utrecht and is a small meeting once in a few weeks. This time there was a workshop about product photography. Products are of course pvc figures in this case. I managed to capture some great figures and Nendoroids. It was a cold and very dark night and the worst environment for taking photos.

The heading might be a little misunderstanding and “back from the dead” is probably a better title for this post. Anime Onsen is NOT going offline this year and also Otaku is still the owner of this website. We have completely moved the whole website to a new webhost, this time it is not shared hosting or IIS and Windows on a friends host, but a Virtual Private Server with Linux Debian and basic Apache stuff managed by Otaku.

Anime Onsen has always been one of my great projects. I started this website two years ago and it was never supposed to be an anime website, blog or community in the first place. In fact it wasn’t even supposed to go online. Anime Onsen has almost 300 registered users and that is something to be proud of as an otaku.

I just hate the month December when it comes to work. I am working at a company that is specialized in print and greeting cards and those Christmas and New Year sales are endless 
However, that doesn’t mean that I completely dislike Christmas, in fact I do love it when it comes to shopping for anime, manga and otaku stuff.

Once upon a time I really loved Sankakucomplex and it used to be my inspiration source for this website. Sankaku was great for anime news and it used to be way better than most other blogs out there. Sadly Sankaku Complex nowadays is filled with hatred, racism, discrimination and idiots.

I love Miku with all my heart, the fan-base is incredible and I might have some good news for Vocaloid fans. Today I strangely stumbled upon an opportunity to get a chance to host Hatsune Miku live. The permission is there but the price tag is also high. It already saves me costs since I own a reasonable amount of entertainment equipment (since I work in the industry).
