Somehow I have forgotten to mention them on AnimeOnsen, maybe because they are always so very late in announcing activities and publishing promotional materials? Or maybe I am just too impatient sometimes, but still they are the greatest anime, manga and Japanese popculture convention here in the Netherlands. I can say that, because I have visited almost every con here, except for the small and weird ones like yaoi and yuricon.

I strongly recommend you to buy a ticket, if you haven’t yet. I was planning to go for a few days, but unfortunately I couldn’t find a hotel room anymore, but somehow they announced free rooms again recently, well fuck it….I will be there on Saturday only. Please visit their outdated website for more information! I mean their design and I do not mean the content…although that might be a little outdated too sometimes! Shock

I have been visiting many cons and I know some otakus may disagree with my views, but a little complaining is only good for their conventions in the future and that means also for loyal visitors like many of us. Why did they call the theme “looking for group” again?

By the way, I am probably not going to cosplay this time!

    Indeed, it does seem a bit odd to name an anime convention after a Canadian webcomic. I wonder how… “in character” they would let me be if I came as Richard though.

    And about the complaining, as a wise man once said: “The worst thing you can do to an artist is to tell them their work is flawless when it isn’t.” i.e.: Nothing will improve if people act friendly and don’t complain.

      Seriously people who may consider going for the very first time….there is no fucking agenda with times! People might have bought a whole weekend ticket if things were more clear… yeah thats marketing…and they suck! I know Xunodax may again disagree with me…but he is no marketeer…he is a nerd…oh wait IT guy….
